WOMEN-ONLY PROGRAMS
1 in 3 female Veterans (33%) meet the criteria for Military Sexual Trauma (MST). Whether due to rape, sexual assault, harassment, training accidents, or generalized violence, women experience significantly more rates of PTSD than men (24% vs 14%)--yet very few resources are dedicated for women.
Our programs change that.
We are the only expedition-based program serving women.
Our female-centric programs are led by an all-female crew including Captains, Mates, and Counselors.
Half of our programs each year are solely for women..
