I am a US Navy Veteran, a Paramedic, Captain, Sailor, Diver, Author, High-Latitude Solo Adventurer, Filmmaker, Philosopher, and Poet. I am a Father, Brother, Son, and to some, a Friend. I'm also a drunk and a cocaine addict who suffers from PTSD, Depression, and Anxiety. If you are a potential Hi-SEAS ADVENTURE Crew Member/Client, I am YOU. 

Following a non-combat trauma event while in the Navy, I lived in fear, isolation, distrust, and anger for many years. I became unrecognizable to family, friends, and to myself. Finally, after nearly fifteen years, I hit "bottom" and  sought professional treatment. 

For me, my PTSD diagnosis was a rebirth. Life made sense. My past, the pain and suffering, made sense. I began to heal, to feel whole again. I stopped being so damned scared and angry all the time. After so many years in the depths of darkness, I could breathe again. Live again. Thrive again.
