Nancy Garner -Executive Director

 My career started in banking where I was a customer service representative on the phones in Nashville. I spoke with some of the country stars of the day including a daily conversation with Dottie West who always asked her balance and spent whatever amount I told her! 

One day, a VP noticed the way I handled a customer and asked that I do a special project of converting OLIVETTIE savings accounts to a computer. While I never thought I could do it, I wrote the procedures and just did it! Soon I was noticed for the good work there, and asked to be Assistant VP of the Database and Special Services area. There, I led over 100 people to do some really great work! And we had fun. 

From there I became an Office Manager in Cable Company in Florida which led to being General Manager which led to a Regional Manager of Customer Service and Training over 14 states. In every job, I was the first to that job and kinda paved the way for all others. 

I LOVED leading, guiding and training people to be their very best and giving them the authority to do it! In addition, I have led various Bible studies for all ages; sang first soprano and solos in many choirs and small groups across the country—I even sang in 2  different quartets in 2 states!

I am a wife to Larry, a mother of three wonderful adult children--Elise, Liz and Jason--a grandmother of three amazing adult grandchildren--Bailey, Megan, Russell--and one very needy beagle, Bella. While I have had a long and great career doing the things that I really enjoyed doing–-leading, guiding and training people to be their very best and giving them the authority to do it; teaching and leading various Bible studies for all ages; singing first soprano and solos in many choirs and small groups across the country. 

I continue to enjoy working with our family to realize their dreams of “giving back”, singing, reading mystery novels, and traveling across this beautiful country in “Lucy”, a small trailer which my husband built for our 50th anniversary. I enjoy going to Highschool Class Reunions and getting together with family and friends and enjoying life. So much has been given to me and I love being able to give back by being a part of Hi-SEAS ADVENTURE.
