Gavin Cate - Asst. Director of Finance

I was born in California and raised in Northwest Montana. This past spring, I graduated from college studying Accounting and am pursuing a career in Construction Management. I love the idea of grit – being able to persevere through the tough parts of life and continuing your effort in order to achieve the long term goal. I believe this is why I love the construction industry. You see the project from start to finish, but will inevitably endure difficulties throughout; however, the end goal of each project drives us to persevere through.

I am excited to be a part of Hi-SEAS as it is a way for me to not only grow in knowledge, but to give back to those who have helped us. As my dad was a first responder in the beginning years of my life, I have experienced the impacts that being a first responder can have on a person and family.
